WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions appoints Vice President of Operations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions (WWHS), a Medical Solutions company and healthcare workforce partner specializing in direct hire international nurse recruitment, today announced the appointment of Mike Meeker, as Vice President of Operations.

Meeker brings extensive executive healthcare leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving operational performance and advancing system-wide outcomes. In his new role, he will lead the systems and processes that support WWHS sales and clinician services, with a focus on strengthening operational efficiency and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients and candidates.

“Mike’s depth of experience in healthcare operations and his ability to drive meaningful outcomes make him a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Patti Artley, President of WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions. “As we continue to support healthcare organizations facing ongoing workforce challenges, his leadership will help us strengthen our systems, elevate the clinician experience and deliver sustainable solutions for our partners worldwide.”

His appointment follows a period of strategic growth and continued investment in WWHS’s global expertise and operational capabilities. His leadership is expected to further align internal processes with the evolving needs of healthcare employers and internationally trained clinicians seeking direct hire opportunities.

Louis Brownstone will step down after supporting the transition over the coming weeks. WWHS leaders expressed appreciation for Brownstone’s contributions in helping to position the organization for continued success.

With Meeker joining the organization, WWHS continues to build on its commitment as a trusted global healthcare workforce partner, delivering high-quality workforce solutions that support hospitals, clinicians and communities around the world.
