Medical Solutions brings global nursing expertise to Iowa through ServiShare partnership

Connecting hospitals with global nursing and healthcare professionals

OMAHA, NE — At Medical Solutions, we know hospitals are facing big challenges when it comes to finding and keeping the right staff. That’s why we’re excited to share some good news: our international direct hire brand, WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions (WWHS), is now added as a new program solution with ServiShare, a subsidiary of the Iowa Hospital Association

This new program expands on the partnership Medical Solutions has had with ServiShare since 2018, and it means Iowa hospitals now have even more ways to access experienced, long-term healthcare talent from around the globe.

WWHS connects U.S. hospitals with a network of more than 40,000 NCLEX-passed clinicians, many of whom bring 8-10 years of experience. Through a direct hire model, hospitals can bring these nurses and healthcare professionals on as full-time, permanent staff. That helps reduce dependence on temporary labor, lower workforce costs, and — most importantly — ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.

“Hospitals across Iowa are facing many of the same workforce challenges as the rest of the country,” said Ron Hoppe, CEO of WWHS. “This partnership helps connect those hospitals with a pipeline of experienced international clinicians who are ready to put down roots, make a difference, and be part of the community for years to come.”

For Medical Solutions, this partnership is another way to help hospitals take a long-term approach to workforce strategy.

“We’re committed to delivering solutions that truly fit the needs of hospitals and their patients,” said Rachael Enright, Strategic Account Executive at Medical Solutions. “Adding WWHS’s international direct hire expertise to our partnership with ServiShare means Iowa hospitals have a powerful new tool to address today’s staffing challenges and prepare for tomorrow.”

ServiShare works with Iowa hospitals to provide trusted resources that make running a hospital more efficient, more effective, and more sustainable. Together, we’re proud to help strengthen healthcare teams and support the communities they serve.
