Tristan Louie Antonio
Our Featured Nurse
Tristan Louie Antonio is the embodiment of the slogan "trust the process". What he thought to be an obstacle that held him back turned out to be the compass that landed him in his American dream working as a registered nurse in the USA.
Tristan initially applied and signed up with a different nurse recruitment agency, but after months of waiting and spending a huge amount of money, he took the risk, contacted WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, and finally transferred in the last quarter of 2020.
Courage and bravery fueled Tristan to reach his ultimate destination. Transferring to WWHSS is one of "the best decisions I ever made in my US immigration journey,” said Tristan.
The luxury of working with one of the best healthcare systems in the world is a realization of Tristan's ultimate dream. He is now working at Cape Fear Valley Health System - Hoke Hospital assigned in the emergency department. While Tristan has been working for barely two months, he already feels at home.
"I am convinced that the best part of my job is the people I am working with. The support and cooperation are there, especially during the busy hours in the ER when the influx of patients is on the rise. Also, the institutional policy and procedures are easy to understand and the technological advancement in all aspects of healthcare makes the work smooth and free from errors."
"WWHSS is by far the best and most dignified agency based on my personal experience. Each stage of the process is organized and straightforward because there is a specific person assigned to cater to all my needs and doubts. I received constant updates regarding my application as well as the necessary things to prepare. Transparency and commitment to their job are superb. The staff is very welcoming and approachable."
Asked to share some advice with his fellow foreign nurses, Tristan said, "Don’t give up on your American Dream because no matter who you are and what you’ve been through, that US dream is and will remain valid as long as you have the courage to work and pursue it. There may be delays and difficulties that arise, but do not give up. Instead, strengthen your faith because everything is aligned in the favor of God and everything will happen the way it should be. Ad astra per aspera (to the stars through difficulties)”.
