Gretchen Bitoin Tamayo

RN

Originally from the Philippines, Gretchen Bitoin Tamayo also worked in Singapore before deciding to come to the United States to work as a RN. Like many, Gretchen came to the U.S. to pursue her American dream. “Being an international, qualified nurse in the USA was one of my biggest dreams," Gretchen exclaimed.

Gretchen was introduced to WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, when she met the CEO, Ron Hoppe, at a recruitment fair at Ateneo de Manila in July 2019. This meeting inspired her to take the leap, and pursue her dream.

“My journey to the U.S. was possible with the help of the WWHSS team, especially CEO Ron Hoppe. I was so grateful to meet him in person, and I was offered this once in a lifetime opportunity."

As one of our nurses, Gretchen knows how strenuous the process of immigrating can be. “To all the nurses out there who are just starting their American dream; don't stop believing in yourself! If I can do it, you can do it as well, so act now!”

Gretchen knows that the key to achieving your dream is taking the first step. For new nurses, she offers the following advice. “First and foremost fulfill your dream in passing those exams (NCLEX, IELTS) and everything else will fall into place. You need to be prepared for all the documents needed so it won't cause any delay in your immigration process and always communicate with your case manager for any concerns.”

Gretchen now works as an RN at Centers HealthCare in Carthage, New York. “I have been working for three months now, as a RN at Centers HealthCare in Carthage, New York. I really love this place here in upstate New York. The WWHSS team has been there all throughout the process, helping in every step of the way until you have settled in at your designated facility.”
“See you all in the land of the free and home of the brave. WWHSS is the key to your American dream.”
